Lummis Asset Management, L.P. collects and maintains a variety of non-public personal information from its clients.

WHAT is shared: The types of personal information that we collect and share includes such things as social security number, account numbers, account balances, investment positions, and transaction history. 

WHY it is shared: Your personal information is shared with account custodians in the process of establishing an account, requesting security and/ or money transfers between custodians, and account maintenance such as address changes. Your express and written consent is given in the process of establishing any new account. In addition, information may be shared with third party service providers such as CPAs. Such information is shared only at your specific request. · Your personal information may also be shared in response to court orders or legal investigations. For example, a summons or subpoena may require us to disclose information that would ordinarily be regarded as nonpublic personal information. This may also occur during the course of a state or other regulatory audit. 

HOW we safeguard your personal information: Lummis Asset Management, L.P. protects your personal information from unauthorized access using electronic and computer safeguards that comply with professional standards as well as secured files and offices. In addition, we never share information with an unknown third party. All requests for information by third parties is verified with the client before information is released. Lummis Asset Management, L.P.'s policy regarding disclosure of nonpublic personal information is simple and straightforward.

The firm will not disclose such information to any non-afilliated third party that is not in the ordinary course of business without prior consent of the client, unless the firm is required to disclose such information to comply with federal, state, or local laws. The privacy policy applies to former clients as well as current ones.
